Rant!!

i've just came back from malaysia.
it was a great trip, i spent alot of time with my family, especially Sarah. which is a good thing.
first day.
we packed up all our stuff and got into the car. i decided not to bring my cell or any form of music players. i mostly slept or talked to my parents on the way there. which was just how i intended the trip to be. good. quality time part one, check.
when we reached Jusco, which is Malaysia's version of Tampines, we went up to where all the restaurants were and tried eating their Secret Recipe. i recall ordering the lagsane and a bottle of Appletiser, sparkling juice. it was very good, and the lagsane was good as well. while waiting for my food, i worked on my story boarding.
next, we walked around for a bit. we went to sox world, where i bought arm socks, black with red hearts. i wish they were stars.
then we went to check into the place. there was a mix up at the reception because my dad had bought a top up card at Jusco, and he had to leave his IC with them before collection. and he had needed it to check in so they could tell he wasn't lying about his particulars. so we went up to the room while my poor faher had to go all the way back to Jusco to get his IC.
later on, i went to take a bath. i was the first one to use the jacuzzi. LOL, SPOILT. anyways, it was so fun. the jacuzzi wasn't that big, but hey, it was fun anyways.
for dinner, we went back to Jusco to eat this japanese thing... Ichiban. yeah. and i ordered a fried rice to share with Sarah and some sides. soft shell crabs, check.
when we went back to the hotel, i ate he strawberries my dad bought and we picked a movie to watch. it turned out to be Iwo Jima. Letter from iwo Jima. about japanese men enlisted to work at an island called Iwo Jima, which the americans intended to use to land and use as a base for their attack on Japan. in the end the Japanese lost, but it was a good fight they put up. they held the fort for much longer than they would have thought.
ALOT of killing.
second day.
next day, my cousins, fr some absurd reason, decided to show up. with my aunt, obviously, they can't drive. one's P6 and one's P4.
that day, we woke up for the beakfast in the morning. it was absolutely TERRIBLE. the variety was little, and the food that was ACTUALLY there, was bad as well.
oh well. whatever. just thank god for the food, i guess. whatever.
we went to book the bowling alleys in advance for that afternoon, an hour from 3-4.
after that, we went back upstairs and fell asleep again till my aunt called and told us to meet her at Jusco 0.o
so we all shook the heck of sleep out of each other and got dressed, washed our face, brushed our teeth, not in that order. then we all had to wait for Sarah as usual, and ten we all went off =D
when we got to Jusco, we found out that they were at Delifrance, so in the end, we had our lunch there, too. i think i ordered a carbonara pasta. i missed the pasta, and tried to change it to fuscilli. damn, i can be soooo spaced out in the morning. given, it wasn't the morning, but hey. whatever.
after lunch was done, my aunt, ever the practical one, insisted on buying SOME snacks to bring back to the resort. we told her we already had snacks, but she still bought SOME snacks bck to the resort. those SOME snacks she bought couldn't even fit in the fridge. oh well. her fault. she had to bring back some to Singapore =D but it was nice of her to think of us. My aunt is a very nice person. after reaching the resort, we unpacked the snacks and rested a bit before going downstairs to bowl.
we waited for about 1/2 an hour for the staff to come down. when i got pissed and wanted to go scream at the reception to freaking send someone, he said, 'it's the way they operate here. we'll be luck if they come down at 5. just relax.' so i just sat down and sulked. in the end, when they came, the guy was politely apologetic, so i just let it go.
i bowled a good first game. i was in the lead all the way, but my sister, like she always did, overtook me in the end. damn. then i sucked at my second game because i spent all my effort on the first game. ah, wasted.
later on, we went up after a game of pool and table soccer, foozball. you know, the kids wanted to swim and that. ah, whatever.
so i went up to change into my costume, which was sadly a pink two piece, i made a mental note to burn that when i got home. and get a black or black and red swimming costume in malaysia. then we went downstairs and settled the swimming towels and everything.
the swimming pool had a HUGE slide. in the beginning, we were sort of stupid and just slid down like that. but later on, when we discovered they provided floats for us to sit or lie down on to slide down, it was a WHOLE lot more fun.
we spent pretty much the whole time either playing tag or sliding. the pool was sadly too shallow to turn rounds in. i might just hit my head in the floor. ok, i wouldn't, i saw someone my size turning rounds, but hey, i've always been the paranoid one here. especially about these things.
afterward, i let the other 2 bathe first then i went to take a bath. yeah, i'm better with kids this way. i'm pretty kiddy if i'm honest, at times. anyways, after we were done, went to the best CRAYFISH AND CRAB PLACE IN MALAYSIA.
the food there rocks, we've always been going there, it was so much fun =D when my cousins were there, too. anyways, we ordered ALOT. i think a crayfish, and crab, one plate of the chilli vegetable thing, the fish, err....... i can't remember. but i know we had coconuts to drink from too. and sugar cane, i just took a green tea, though. good thing i did.
went back to the resort after the best dinner in our entire trip. worked on my story in the room with Sarah on her computer and did not notice till very much later th she had gone out. when i went to join the group outside, they were just starting the beginning of the movie, To Kill A Mockingbird. that movie was waaaaay too good. you should all watch it, or at least read the book.
SCOUT WAS SO CUTE!!!!! tomboy, just like me =D XDXD
anyways, when we went back into the room, me and Sarah still couldn't go to sleep, so we talked about alot of crap. very sad and depressing crap.
i had a nightmare.
but shh, don't tell.
Third day.
today was our day to Melaka! first we set off at around 11:45, and reached at around 2... i think. anyways, then we went for lunch at this insanely deserted place. we got the willies, and dad announced that he had a summon, and i think it was some kind of fine. then the funny thing was that the place he was summoned to was just aross the road XDXDXD LOL.
so on the way to this place my mum recommended, we talked about Hilary clinton and Obama. when we reached, we all got out of the car and went up, gratified to find the place was civilised. how did we know? easy. there was a Starbucks and a Coffee bean on each side of the entrance =D
we decided to all split up and then get back to the entrance at a specific time. i decided to go with Sarah, it would be aot more fun going alone, in which time i would just do random stuff and probably not buy a thing. when we saw this lighter shop, i asked which one Sarah liked. i wanted to buy one for her. she sighed and told me i should use my money on myself. i rolled my eyes and we went onward to this cool shop, alot of the stuff in there was black and red =D
...
ok fine, Sarah, fine, the guy was cute, ok??! stop going on about it, for god's sake, are you going to start a cult for malaysian-chinese people??! jeez.
i bought a set of badges for Stacy there =D one of them had this cute little boy holding a guitar on it, so i bought it for her. and also, the main colours were red and black.
went into the shop next door, Ruffry or something. can't remember. that's where Sarah saw this pair of really short shorts. i tried to convince her not to buy it, but whatever. in the end she did anyways -_-lll
we walked around aimlessly, so i'm going to skip to my next purchase. oh, that would be when Sarah saw her canvas flats shoes, which i felt was aimless.
she didn't have enough cash because she had spent all of her money. so i gave her enought to fill in the blanks.
after buying the shoes, we walked around in FOS, where she saw a few tank tops, and a jacket with yellow words on a black fabric. i bought a brownish oversized jacket. it's so comfy!!! XD
i think it was the only thing i bought for myself that day 0.o
later on we went to a CD shop, where i bought a Deep purple album for my dad and a CD by smeone i didn't know for my mum. it had her fave song in it, oh well, whatever, i guess.
later on when we went to meet them, they already had the CD i bought for mum and Dad wanted to exchange the CD i got for him, so oh well. after a disappointing dinner at Seoul garden due to limited, very very limited selection, we went to change the CDs to the best of George Michael for dad, and the lastest Michael Buble album for mum. then we went home. tiring day, but i managed to watch Indiana Jones while waiting for the bath when i got back home to the resort =D the socond one, Temple of doom or something. i think the series is epic ^^ it's a good story.
not sleepy. talked with Sarah.
i hate him.
last day.
we went to city square and ate at the sizziling Stone grill =D
the food was amazing, i ordered chicken kebab XDXDXD anyways, after lunch, we split up and walked our seperate ways, agreeing to meet up outside pradini at around 4=-4:30.
shopped shopped shopped.
i bought my final item for Ellyn, a blue handbag and hairband set. and some stuff for myself, ('finnally!!' >>sarah) an FF blue pendant necklace which is happily hanging on a black string now, and a lok and key necklace. i also bought a jack tie ^^
that about rounds up my trip to malaysia.
thank you, thank you.

Rant!!

hello people. today i'm going to recap my second outing with the Yuan Ching group... ok.
alright. spent the first bit of the day studying and rearranging plans with Wan over... and over and over... and over... again.
in the end, we decided to eat lunch at home, and meet up across the school to make our way to Suntec together. since i was pretty dumb at directions. not as dumb as ONE OF THE YUAN CHING GROUP, as you will later find out.
anyways...
we got there and she decided to go to secret recipe, where she ordered a lasagna and i ordered a spaghetti bolognaise. while waiting, i read the third book in the Magician's Guild series, the High Lord, and she played her PSP. when the food came, we put down our stuff and began to eat. approximately 45 minutes later, we were done, but we didn't feel like moving. so in the end, i ordered a drink and we stayed there a couple more hours. and then Faye called, and said she was coming, so me and Wan made our way over to the station.
the probem was, due to a lost bet, i was wearing the most UNCOMFORTABLE, USELESS, DISGUSTING AND UTTERLY HUMILIATING outfit, EVER. a dress, with fugly shoes to match. fugly shoes that are wierd because they are tight, but can slip off when i'm walking. What shoes are TIGHT, but SLIP OFF??! i'll never get shoes, they get so temperamental!!!
we went to get her, the Theon sms'ed me. 2 messages, i needed to get in the habit of checking my sms's more often.
'is the station city hall'
i looked at it in utter disbelief. i was ASTOUNDED. i looked at the second one, almost scared.
'lucky thing i picked the right train'
we laughed like crazy over HMV. thank god it was noisy enough to cover the high pitched laughter from Wan. we made our way back again, to the station. THAT LONG WAY BACK TO THE STATION.
Theon was spaced out, walking right past up till Faye pulled him back by the shirt. LOL.
so then we met up with Ryan, whom i was angry with because of a tussel with the seating arrangements. we went for a small snack at Gelare, and then when we were done, we rushed to get to our seats in the cinema. with the whole seating thing 'handled', there was still an odd ticket. like, 4 tickets in a row, and 1 in another. so since Faye, Theon and ryan already knew each other, and i thought Wan would have wanted to sit with someone farmiliar, it was her first day meeting them, and i bought her all the way there, it would have been kind of stupid, don't you think, to stick her in another row all alone? so i went for the odd ticket.
i sat up at the back, alone. it was kind of wierd. i had never sat alone for the whole movie before.
after the movie was over, we found eah other, and the girls went to the loo while the guys stayed outside talking about Valhalla Knights and stuff. then we walked to the station and Theon went ahead, saying he needed to meet his ride at Guardian. then we alllll went home.
an exquisitely tiring day.

Rant!! (and pictures.)

Ok, i haven't posted for a bit. i'm going to start with the wedding i didn't tell anyone of you guys about, it's the shortest.
well, last Sunday, about a week ago, i had to attend a wedding, my mother's cousin, apparently. so we went for the actual wedding thing in the afternoon, sadly stacy didn't attend so i couldn't get any pictures of that. if not it would have been snap snap snap, click click click.
we went home, had about 2-3 hours to rest up nice and ready for the wedding dinner. here's the thing people, i was supposed to get a dress. like, a black dress, to wear to this dinner thingy. but in the end, me and my sisters decided to go guys because my dad was in China, so one of the others suggested we had to represent him. i more than happily accepted the chance to get out of wearing the dress. i remember glaring triumphantly at the dress hanging behind my bedroom door.
'so there. i'm burning you as soon as i'm home alone.' i thought.
i wore a grey work shirt and a black tux, and work pants. boots, too. and trust me when i say, i looked alot like a guy. my mum was nagging because my sister felt like taking a shower about 15 minutes before my uncle was due to pick us up, and we speeded up a bit. then we went downstairs to our uncle's car which was about 15 minutes late, and yup...
off to the wedding.
i went off for a bit, just to check the seating, because it was kind of wierd, but all of our family was sitting apart on the register. when i came back, this woman was in my seat. my mother KINDLY asked her to move, and informed her i was sitting there. i waited.
the lady stated she was sitting there, and demanded she was at table 6. RUDELY.
i got pissed. my sisters got pissed. my mother got slightly uncomfortable. we got even more miffed at that, at least take a stand, lady. so i went outside to sort this out.
in the end, we all sat together snugly at table 8, thank you very much. although i was still angry at the lady and i kept bringing it back up, whoops.

we're all in this together!! LOL. us sitting happily at table 8, me still miffed about the ridiculous lady.

This is the menu. there were a whole lot of dishes in weird words describing simple things, so i didn't really bother much about it.
oooh, Hyatt chocolates. sinful, but very very tasty. i enjoyed every bit of my box, unlike my SOMEONE, who enjoyed everyone's. she stole them, lol. that desperate for chocolates? wow. this one's got issues. somehow i think i managed to keep up the guy thing, not only with my sitting position but also with my terrible posture. it's something i've been asked to watch over and over again.

that SOMEONE'S collection... thief!! FIEND!!!

the centerpieces at the wedding were lovely, the roses really complimented the atmosphere somehow. every time i go to a wedding, it's usually roses, but i never get tired of it. i wonder why. maybe it's just that they're so peaceful looking. *fidgets*

the first dish that was served out was this bunch of stuff on a huge plate. the sushi looking thing and the cereal prawns were pretty good, but i thought the abalone tasted rather queer... maybe it was the sauce that came with it. after everyone was done, i blew out the candle in the middle.
...
don't tell, they didn't notice. *laughs maniacally* ahem =]

at least 4 sharks were killed to make this one bowl of sup. almost 50 tables at the dinner.
...
we should be ashamed of ourselves. sincerely speaking, the sharks deserve to live. they are becoming endangered. i'm no tree hugger or whatever, but this is just sad.
father, i pray that you spare the sharks and that the evil fishermen who go out to hunt them get their heads severed and bitten off before the sharks devour them whole.
...
amen. *smiles*
this was funny. my cousin actually caught the champagne thing =D lol. our table suddenly burst into laughter, but no one could tell why. she refused to let anyone touch it, because she was scared they wouldn't give it back. she obviously thought it was really important, the fuss everyone was making. we practically had to promise her an IOU to let us take the picture in the first place.

the last dish. green tea pudding, ahh, the fruits sure hit the spot. the pudding... not so sure. *grimace*

ahh yes. obviously we couldn't have only pictures of things. we just HAD to have pictures of people. that's me at the top, stacy at the right, and sarah on the left.
