"Point of information sir."
"Yes, mam."
Wan stood up. "sir, do you not believe that not only the people watching the programme would feel a sense of lower self esteem, but also the representatives of the country if they are eliminated at an early point?"
Ryan bit his lip. Sheri smirked at Farez and Faye, his team mates. 'good one, Wan!!' she cheered in her mind. 'obviously the participants would feel inferior if they had bowled out in an early match, no matter what the contest! as long as the elimination method is displayed, this will always be an issue!' Wan looked at Ryan.
'now what will you do?' Wan thought, as she watched Ryan struggle to answer.
"time's up!! Point to Roshinie's team." the instructor announced. they were playing a game where one had to raise points against the opponents case. if the speaker failed to answer withing the given time frame, points would be awarded to the opposite team. the game proceeded.

Hisagi had not enough time to readjust the crystals. he watched as they broke off the thread one by one and counted off the number of them remaining. what had been 50 was now reduced to 7.
the time of arrival in Dimension 987 is near...

"i'm beat." Jean chugged a bottle of 7-up. her members walked up to her. "hey senior, do you have a spare script to lend us?" one of them said. "what, forgot your own?" Jean said. they nodded. "hey, not a single one of you bought yours? you better thank god i got one here or Kang will be so pissed at all you slackers." she joked. she took out her script and handed it to the junior who asked for it. they thanked her profusely and left her to her break.
'ahh... when is that ridiculously late jumper going to land?' Jean asked herself. she sat down nest to the rose bushes in the garden, not really caring about her shorts. 'maybe he'll be here tomorrow.' she took another few swigs of the bottle.
'i think I'm the only one who knows about this...' Jean worried. 'should i tell the others? they might be mad if i don't. the crystal knowledge is crucial.' she thought.
"JEAN!! CHER' WANTS YOU BACK, BREAK'S OVER!!" Joy called from the Drama room, and Jean stood up, yelling back, "coming!!"
'i guess for now, this knowledge is something i'll keep to myself.' Jean decided, as she walked back to the Drama room.

"... Home!!!" Wan stomped into the house. she kicked off her shoes and put them against the wall. 'oh jeez, Ryan was stubborn today. he fought on this case for, like, ever. and Farez went to his rescue quickly. Thenk god for Roshinie, is all i have to say.'
"welcome back, dinner is on the table. your sister and me ate already, your father is yet to come back. auntie has gone out to buy more bread, we ran out." Wan's mother said. Wan nodded and went to wash her hands after dropping her bag. she wiped her hands and sat down at the table, picking up her utensils. 'sek fan.' she thought, the <greeting> for dinner.
'the jumper could come tomorrow. he could come next year. and Jean seems to be hiding something.'
"What's for dinner?" she called, hiding the worry of the jumper perfectly under her tone.

"I'm done." Faye said, monotonously. her mother whisked away her plate as Faye went upstairs to do her Bio homework. she passed her brother's room, to see both older and younger quarelling as usual. nothing ever different in this house, is there? 'just cause i pretend to be ok doesn't necessarily mean i am, mom.' she thought.
'when will you ever notice how uncomfortable i am at home? when will you ever ask about how insecure i feel? when will you build the bridge to my secrets? I'm so stressed because of this jumper thing!!! and Sheri wants me to help her web search...' Faye shut her eyes and flopped on her bed. "Faye? are you doing your homework??!" Faye's father called. Faye hated her father. he was a cruel person, who abused his children daily. Faye bit her lip and sat up, cradling her Bio textbook.
"Yes, Father."

"BATHROOM!!" Sheri ran in through the door, tossing the keys onto the sofa. she dashed to the toilet and spent a couple of minutes in there. her mother shook her head.
When Sheri came out, she walked back to the sofa, picked up the key, and locked the gate, and shut the door. "Sheri, when will you be normal?" her mother asked, bringing out a bowl of fish ball noodles to the dining table.
"never. you're my mother, and Dad's my dad. no choice, if my genetics scream weird." Sheri answered, as she walked back into the kitchen to make drinks. her sister waltzed in, took a cube of ice, and waltzed right back out. 'your gums will deteriorate...' Sheri thought. 'and they will bleed if you brush them too hard after eating ice like that, the skin would be too raw...'
"the 7-o'clock show is starting soon." her mother announced. Sheri set the drinks down. she watched the theme song of the show come on, but she wasn't focusing on the characters.
'how long...' she wondered, 'would it take for the jumper to come through?'

"mum, i'm done with my homework." Jean announced, as she trooped down the stairs. 'i wonder what i should do for the rest of the night. i could update the blogshop and see if there are any recent buyers...' she thought. "Jean, where's my sweater? you borrowed it last Saturday." Jean's sister called.
"it's in the wash!!! that thing was dirty, and it was really obvious, so i put it in the wash!" Jean answered, and she went upstairs to her room and turned on the computer.
'i wonder about Sheri.' Jean opened the link to her blogshop with Wan. 'the girl seems to get her theories too easily. i still wonder where she gets them from.' she screened the tagbox for orders. 3 from this girl named Natasha and 1 from this girl named Ashlie. there was also a guy buyer, buying the strawberry keychain for his girlfriend. 'how sweet.' Jean thought.
"Jean!! Tori's on the phone!!" Jean's father called, and Jean ran down the stairs, 2 at a time. as she picked up the phone, she said, "Tori? it's a little late, shouldn't you be in bed?"
"Jean, it's me. your father just assumed it was Tori." Jean reeled. it was Wan.
"Eer... sorry about that, he just assumes stuff like that."
"nevermind, i have something important to tell you. but i need you to tell me what you know too..."

"Ryan. Dishes." Theon said swiftly, leaving the table to do his work. Ryan sighed and got up.
(in case you still don't get it,Ryan and Theon live together because their parents are constantly overseas. and Ryan's sister, Lynette, lives with relatives.)
"i thought i did them yesterday?" Ryan said. "oh yes, while you were out bowling, didn't you?" Theon said sarcastically. Ryan scratched the back of his head in a dorky way. "ha ha..."
"still, i had time to think yesterday while you were out due to the absence of that annoying beeping all the time..." he jested, and Ryan frowned. nobody insulted him gaming. but he let it go. bantering between friends was ok, right?
'the whole time tunnel thing seems to be missing something besides the numbers. the axle is there, but i'm sure there's one bit i'm missing.' Theon frowned again, and Ryan asked, "what's up?"
"something's missing." Theon announced, as Ryan sat down, wiping his hands on a paper towel. "i'll ask Sheri about it tomorrow." he said, and Ryan yawned. "Don't you think this whole jumping thing is a little hard to believe? i mean, there hasn't been anything about it till now, not even the scientists discovered this." Ryan said, stretching. "that's because the scientists don't have enough brains to believe." Theon said stubbornly, shutting his book on the last question. 'thank god for calculators,' he thought.
"Brains to believe, huh?" Ryan laughed. Theon ignored him and went off to brush.
