Dimension 987 Chapter 4
Faye awoke.
Sheri awoke.
Ryan awoke.
Wan awoke.
Theon awoke.
"Theon, did you feel that?"
"hang on, i'm conferencing all of us. why didn't anyone call you?"
"you started this whole thing!! obviously everyone would go to you first, you were point on this!!!"
"J... just wait! sheesh..."
Theon pressed the menu button and switched everyone to conference.
"Did you guys just feel that jolt? Theon already confirmed with me that he felt it." Ryan.
"I felt it!! it was sort of like the first time, but this time stronger, and i could hear a PING! sound!!" Jean.
"I felt it." Wan. short and curt. how uncharacteristic.
"I felt it, and also, the force was stronger." Faye.
"I was jerked out of sleep. don't tell me all of you were awake." Theon.
"i was awake." Ryan.
"me too!" Jean.
"i can't sleep, i have an insomnia problem. passed down from my father." Sheri.
"i was wide awake!!" Wan.
"i was still awake working on my editorial column." Faye.
Theon became quiet.
"Jean has something to say." Wan said curtly. Jean cleared her throat.
"i know something about the tunnels." Jean confessed, and everyone was immediately alert.
"why didn't you say so before?! i knew something was missing!" Theon started to get angry.
"hey, come on. it's not Jean's fault. she was probably scared because she had no proof or something." Wan.
"yeah, let's just listen to what she has to say." Sheri.
"listen." Jean said. "the so called source of the power comes from 2 places. one is from the jumper, obviously, since life force is essential, and the other comes from a secondary source. judging by the power of this force," Jean frowned, "the secondary power source would be the moon. the strongest source, the crescent moon. but there was one thing you missed." Theon and Sheri clutched the phone tighter.
"the crystals." Jean said confidently.
"the what?" Theon and Sheri said at the same time. Faye giggled.
"the crystals. as we all know, when something goes through a shiny solid like a diamond with many sides, any light is reflected. the more sides, the more light. it's the same concept, but this time, with power. the amount of power put in by the moon is magnified by the sides of the crystal." Jean concluded her statement.
Sheri was silent.
Theon couldn't find anything to say.
"i have something to say, too." Wan said solemnly. everyone held the phone back to her ear.
"i expected this, Wan." Sheri said, surprisingly. "you sounded a bit too believing at Mac'Donalds."
"just listen. this is what i have to offer." Wan insisted, and everyone waited for the news.
"..."
"Sheri, Theon, Ryan, Faye and Jean... my older brother was a previous jumper."

Hisagi landed in a... tree.
'this is a tree.' he confirmed, eating one of the leaves before spitting it out. 'BITTER!' he took a short sip of water from his hip flask.
'so this is Dimension 987. Earth...' Hisagi looked at the lights around him and climbed down. he warily took a step on the grey thing which looked like it stretched on for a long time, but something rushed by that blared at him like it was offended. Hisagi resisted the urge to run up the tree again, where he felt he would be safe from all these things. he sighed as he looked at the left and right side of the grey strip. he took a step, and then another when he saw it was safe. he ran across and looked back when he was on the other side, proud of himself.
before he saw all the funny rounded and square shaped structures and so many more grey strips around him. he breathed out a long breath.
'this is going to be a long night.' he thought, looking left and right to check for blaring things again.

Rant!! (and pictures.)
This was a design for my table, today we were all painting the base coat, it's just some post exam activity or something. total waste of brain cells, but it was fun thinking up this design.
this was a collection of 3 photos, but i lost one of them because i accidentally deleted it. too bad, the red light one was good too, although slightly blurred.
i bet you didn't know i collected cards ^^ it was an awesome collection hobby.
these were some things i collected from Egypt. the green one on the left is a scarab. i bet you didn't know that the scarab was an ancient Egyptian bug which was believed to aid in the delivery of sunrise? these scarabs burrow down into the sand at night, and come out in the morning. which is why they are believed to pull the sun down and push the sun up. the one on the right is an alabaster rock, a solid which is really, really hard.Wednesday, May 14, 2008
Dimension 987 Chapter 3
"Yes, mam."
Wan stood up. "sir, do you not believe that not only the people watching the programme would feel a sense of lower self esteem, but also the representatives of the country if they are eliminated at an early point?"
Ryan bit his lip. Sheri smirked at Farez and Faye, his team mates. 'good one, Wan!!' she cheered in her mind. 'obviously the participants would feel inferior if they had bowled out in an early match, no matter what the contest! as long as the elimination method is displayed, this will always be an issue!' Wan looked at Ryan.
'now what will you do?' Wan thought, as she watched Ryan struggle to answer.
"time's up!! Point to Roshinie's team." the instructor announced. they were playing a game where one had to raise points against the opponents case. if the speaker failed to answer withing the given time frame, points would be awarded to the opposite team. the game proceeded.
***
Hisagi had not enough time to readjust the crystals. he watched as they broke off the thread one by one and counted off the number of them remaining. what had been 50 was now reduced to 7.
the time of arrival in Dimension 987 is near...
***
"i'm beat." Jean chugged a bottle of 7-up. her members walked up to her. "hey senior, do you have a spare script to lend us?" one of them said. "what, forgot your own?" Jean said. they nodded. "hey, not a single one of you bought yours? you better thank god i got one here or Kang will be so pissed at all you slackers." she joked. she took out her script and handed it to the junior who asked for it. they thanked her profusely and left her to her break.
'ahh... when is that ridiculously late jumper going to land?' Jean asked herself. she sat down nest to the rose bushes in the garden, not really caring about her shorts. 'maybe he'll be here tomorrow.' she took another few swigs of the bottle.
'i think I'm the only one who knows about this...' Jean worried. 'should i tell the others? they might be mad if i don't. the crystal knowledge is crucial.' she thought.
"JEAN!! CHER' WANTS YOU BACK, BREAK'S OVER!!" Joy called from the Drama room, and Jean stood up, yelling back, "coming!!"
'i guess for now, this knowledge is something i'll keep to myself.' Jean decided, as she walked back to the Drama room.
***
"... Home!!!" Wan stomped into the house. she kicked off her shoes and put them against the wall. 'oh jeez, Ryan was stubborn today. he fought on this case for, like, ever. and Farez went to his rescue quickly. Thenk god for Roshinie, is all i have to say.'
"welcome back, dinner is on the table. your sister and me ate already, your father is yet to come back. auntie has gone out to buy more bread, we ran out." Wan's mother said. Wan nodded and went to wash her hands after dropping her bag. she wiped her hands and sat down at the table, picking up her utensils. 'sek fan.' she thought, the <greeting> for dinner.
'the jumper could come tomorrow. he could come next year. and Jean seems to be hiding something.'
"What's for dinner?" she called, hiding the worry of the jumper perfectly under her tone.
***
"I'm done." Faye said, monotonously. her mother whisked away her plate as Faye went upstairs to do her Bio homework. she passed her brother's room, to see both older and younger quarelling as usual. nothing ever different in this house, is there? 'just cause i pretend to be ok doesn't necessarily mean i am, mom.' she thought.
'when will you ever notice how uncomfortable i am at home? when will you ever ask about how insecure i feel? when will you build the bridge to my secrets? I'm so stressed because of this jumper thing!!! and Sheri wants me to help her web search...' Faye shut her eyes and flopped on her bed. "Faye? are you doing your homework??!" Faye's father called. Faye hated her father. he was a cruel person, who abused his children daily. Faye bit her lip and sat up, cradling her Bio textbook.
"Yes, Father."
***
"BATHROOM!!" Sheri ran in through the door, tossing the keys onto the sofa. she dashed to the toilet and spent a couple of minutes in there. her mother shook her head.
When Sheri came out, she walked back to the sofa, picked up the key, and locked the gate, and shut the door. "Sheri, when will you be normal?" her mother asked, bringing out a bowl of fish ball noodles to the dining table.
"never. you're my mother, and Dad's my dad. no choice, if my genetics scream weird." Sheri answered, as she walked back into the kitchen to make drinks. her sister waltzed in, took a cube of ice, and waltzed right back out. 'your gums will deteriorate...' Sheri thought. 'and they will bleed if you brush them too hard after eating ice like that, the skin would be too raw...'
"the 7-o'clock show is starting soon." her mother announced. Sheri set the drinks down. she watched the theme song of the show come on, but she wasn't focusing on the characters.
'how long...' she wondered, 'would it take for the jumper to come through?'
***
"mum, i'm done with my homework." Jean announced, as she trooped down the stairs. 'i wonder what i should do for the rest of the night. i could update the blogshop and see if there are any recent buyers...' she thought. "Jean, where's my sweater? you borrowed it last Saturday." Jean's sister called.
"it's in the wash!!! that thing was dirty, and it was really obvious, so i put it in the wash!" Jean answered, and she went upstairs to her room and turned on the computer.
'i wonder about Sheri.' Jean opened the link to her blogshop with Wan. 'the girl seems to get her theories too easily. i still wonder where she gets them from.' she screened the tagbox for orders. 3 from this girl named Natasha and 1 from this girl named Ashlie. there was also a guy buyer, buying the strawberry keychain for his girlfriend. 'how sweet.' Jean thought.
"Jean!! Tori's on the phone!!" Jean's father called, and Jean ran down the stairs, 2 at a time. as she picked up the phone, she said, "Tori? it's a little late, shouldn't you be in bed?"
"Jean, it's me. your father just assumed it was Tori." Jean reeled. it was Wan.
"Eer... sorry about that, he just assumes stuff like that."
"nevermind, i have something important to tell you. but i need you to tell me what you know too..."
***
"Ryan. Dishes." Theon said swiftly, leaving the table to do his work. Ryan sighed and got up.
(in case you still don't get it,Ryan and Theon live together because their parents are constantly overseas. and Ryan's sister, Lynette, lives with relatives.)
"i thought i did them yesterday?" Ryan said. "oh yes, while you were out bowling, didn't you?" Theon said sarcastically. Ryan scratched the back of his head in a dorky way. "ha ha..."
"still, i had time to think yesterday while you were out due to the absence of that annoying beeping all the time..." he jested, and Ryan frowned. nobody insulted him gaming. but he let it go. bantering between friends was ok, right?
'the whole time tunnel thing seems to be missing something besides the numbers. the axle is there, but i'm sure there's one bit i'm missing.' Theon frowned again, and Ryan asked, "what's up?"
"something's missing." Theon announced, as Ryan sat down, wiping his hands on a paper towel. "i'll ask Sheri about it tomorrow." he said, and Ryan yawned. "Don't you think this whole jumping thing is a little hard to believe? i mean, there hasn't been anything about it till now, not even the scientists discovered this." Ryan said, stretching. "that's because the scientists don't have enough brains to believe." Theon said stubbornly, shutting his book on the last question. 'thank god for calculators,' he thought.
"Brains to believe, huh?" Ryan laughed. Theon ignored him and went off to brush.

Midnight.
PING!!
Rant!! (and pictures.)
ok, this was like the first picture i took, i always did like the way the water twirls when there's a little tornado in the middle. very pretty and amusing.
I't... looking right at me... *gulp*
I love this picture, it's so ccol to have such a huge skeleton as part of the exhibit! it's just like Night at the Museum ^^
this was a rash picture i took because there was finally no one in the way ^^ heh.
would you believe my classmate screamed when she saw this dinosaur outside the centre? i was laughing my hide off.so... we went back to school. i slept some on the way, listening to Potential Break Up Song and Face Down and a combination or other random songs...

Dimension 987 Chapter 2
"Wan, you take Jean's. I'll take Faye because she's on a higher level and i run faster."
"what's that supposed to mean??!"
"J... just go!!! we got 5 minutes!!"
Sheri raced up the stairs. she was desperate to confirm the jolt with Theon to see if the signs matched because he had the file, and if the others had felt it. She jumped up the steps 2 by two and tripped on the last one. she fell face down to the floor, with one knee bent up.
"oh, nuts." she muttered, looking at her grazed knee. she thumbed it and waited for the blood to clot. 'thank god for having a doctor in the family' sheri thought, and promised to disinfect it later, according to the circumstances. she ran in through Faye's back door.
"FAYE!!" she screamed. Faye looked up from her desk. "Give me a second here, i'll be right there." Faye said, and she slung her bag over her shoulder. she walked over to the door frame. "did you feel it?" Sheri burst. Faye hesitated before giving a small jerk of her head. Sheri grabbed her by the wrist and pulled her.
"This is it, let's go!!"
***
"Jean, did you feel that jerk?" Wan was standing by jean's table, occasionally waving to departing people she knew. "you mean that small jolt in my Art class? obviously. i fell off my chair." Jean admitted sheepishly, and Wan laughed.
"Sheri says it could be, well... that." Wan said. she began to frown. most uncharacteristic.
"really. then are we meeting up?" Jean asked. Wan nodded. "Since we have CCA today, i'm going to ask them to eat out. and you do have Drama CCA today, right?" Wan confirmed. Jean nodded.
"well, i was thinking Jurong Point. what do you think?" Wan asked.
"you have got to be kidding. I think that out of all of us, you're the most relaxed one." Jean laughed.
'relaxed?' Wan thought, almost angrily. "heh, probably." she smiled outwardly. Jean laughed and began packing her bag.
'as if. i know some things you don't, Jean.' Wan thought, calming down. Jean pulled on her sling and said, "let's go. foyer, yeah?" Wan nodded.
'and you shouldn't know. so i'm not telling you.'
***
"Ryan, we need to go. the others will be waiting." Theon rushed Ryan, who was confirming something with their class chairman. Ryan looked back at him. "i got it." he said, and turned back to finish up with their conversation. Theon closed his eyes and sighed, frowning.
'jeez. hurry up.' he thought, slipping his hands into his pocket. Ryan finally came over, and Theon walked out of the classroom.
"everyone has CCA today, including Jean." Ryan said, and Theon nodded. 'that's true. it would then make it easier for all of us to meet up since everyone has to stay back later.' Theon thought, as they started the 4-storey-climb down to the foyer, where they usually met up after school to go get bubble tea or snag lunch.
"would the tunnel be a light tunnel or time tunnel, i wonder. usually it would be time, but if it were, i have no idea about how much time our mystery jumper would take to come into this dimension. i'm more covered in terms of the light tunnel." Theon admitted. 'does this mean that he hasn't done a shred of research on the time tunnel?' Ryan thought. this didn't seem like Theon. he was really particular about whatever he started.
"but Sheri is." Theon finished, and Ryan got it. Obviously, more information would be obtained if they split tasks. "i'm going to spill about it during lunch, and i'm going to ask Sheri to tell us about what she got from all those times of research on the computer and in the books."
"would the jumper arrive anytime soon?" Ryan asked. "it's uncertain, like i said, it depends on the tunnel he uses." Theon explained, and they briskly walked to the foyer.
***
"the time tunnel depends on the distance between numbers and obviously the power of the jumper. each Dimension has a number fixed on it. when i refer to the distance between numbers, it means that..." Sheri held up her fingers in a number 1 and number 2. "if the jumper is jumping from dimension 1 to 2, the distance is very short." Sheri stretched out 3 more fingers on her right hand. "but if it's from dimension 1 to 4, the distance would be 3 times that of the distance from dimension 1 to 2. get it?" Sheri picked up her burger.
they were at the Jurong Point branch of Mac'Donalds, where Sheri was explaining first, the time tunnel.
"so..." Faye asked, "does that mean the jump from dimension 1 to 16 is twice the time taken for the jump from dimension 1 to 8?" Sheri nodded. "you catch on fast."
'so the distance is determined in numbers... these numbers are fixed in the code of each Dimension.' Wan thought, linking what Theon said to what Sheri did.
"This could mean that our theories are very similar. my research on the light tunnel shows almost the same thing, but it talks also about how much power is provided by the agent and the jumper." Theon frowned. he stopped eating his burger and interaced his fingers over the lower half of his face.
"A... agent? as in the starter?" Sheri asked. 'i didn't come across it,' she thought.
"according to the text, the largest agent would be a crescent moon, regardless of any dimension." Theon continued. "if the power of the jumper is large, it would boost the time taken to travel considerably. the only problem is that we have no idea what number dimension is his, and what number dimension is..."
"...ours." Sheri thought aloud. "that's why we can't calculate the time frame when he would actually land on our dimension floors." she said, and everyone took a breath. this could be a problem. 'if we don't know where or when the jumper will land, it's as good as starting from scratch.' Faye thought. Jean was looking uncharacteristically serious.
"Anchorage." Wan said abruptly. everyone was looking at her. "Wan, did you just say Anchorage?" Theon confirmed. Wan nodded. "so you know about that." he said. Sheri looked at Wan like she'd grown 2 brains.
"what's all this stuff about Anchorage?" Jean asked. "like a link, is it?" Ryan guessed. 'sort of...' Wan thought. "in a way, yes." Theon said. "the jumper needs some sort of anchorage to this dimension, and in this case, it would be our knowledge of his coming." he reeled off.
"with just our knowledge, there is a string tying him to this dimension. he will be able to land without fading away like some jumpers who have tried to jump for no reason. he will surely land near us." Sheri concluded.
"we need to go." Wan announced, looking at her watch. "yeah, we'd better get going, or we won't make it back in time." Ryan said, standing up. Faye grabbed her coke and pushed in her chair. Jean did the same thing with her iced lemon tea.
"so maybe we have CCA today, but if you guys feel the slightest jolt or something like a sign, contact me or Sheri immediately." Theon said. "even if it's in class."
'so that's going to be the plan.' Wan thought, tugging her bag strap securely on.
'...but will it be enough?'
Rant!!
yesterday, mum and Sarah fought again...
sigh...
today i got back my exam scripts, and i really need to work harder, and i'm going to buck up. since this year is streaming, i guess studying should be made a priority. one of my top few.
if i want to get into the class i applied for (geography, literature, food and nutrition... can't remember...), i'm going to have to put in more than the four hours i've been doing recently. not that i want to, but i'll probably have to take notes and memorise some of the important contents too. sigh.
my form told my mum that i was really smart and intelligent, just that i needed to work hard. i'm a pretty lazy person, i would never study when i didn't need to. i guess that's going to change. i'll put in regular hours, and ask Stacy to give me tuition. she's the real math whiz in this house. since my mum's the chinese translator for our church, that means she's really smart, right? i'll ask her for help with my chinese if i need it.
...
all my other subjects were pretty well done. compared to the sec 2 cohort, i mean. the paper was hard, i don't blame anyone, though.
OK, go for the streaming paper!!!

From Yuan Ching!!
Faye: from 2/6, average normal teen, good poetry writer, kind and smart, dating Ryan,
Ryan: from 3/8, addicted to gaming (and paid for it), slightly unfocused, dating Faye,
Theon: from 3/8, smart, mostly unreadable, mostly seen pondering circumstances, responsible.
*facts and character has been slightly altered, including classes.*
Hisagi raced against time as he put his life force into the crystals. the King's men were nearing his runic circle, and he had no time to set up a separate barrier. he frantically began throwing his life force into the crystals. the pulses changed from light pinkish to pure white flashes.
***
Faye felt a jolt in her seat. she took care not to jump up and yell that she had been electrified.
'no one else seemed to have felt it, ' she thought. 'I'll ask the rest about it later.' she concluded, getting back to her 'geography'. the poem she was submitting for the school newsletter as the anonymous writer, 'Blade', was almost completed. she closed her eyes and thought. 'what rhymed with serpent?'
"Faye? Faye!! what are you doing?!" Faye snapped to attention. her teacher was pointing at the question written on the board. What was the difference between shifting cultivation and high tech farming? Faye quickly looked at her notes and looked straight at the geography teacher.
"While shifting cultivation is used for subsistence farming, high tech farming is used for commercial farming. the amount land needed for shifting cultivation is higher than high tech farming, capital needed for high tech farming is higher than that of shifting cultivation, labour needed for shifting cultivation and high tech farming is relatively low, but output per unit area of land for shifting cultivation is lower than output her unit area for high tech farming." Faye thought a little while.
"... miss."
***
Hisagi could hear the war cries now. they were getting alarmingly close to his spot in the Pagoda Garden. this was the most lit spot by the crescent moon in the whole of Dimension 93, and Hisagi had no choice but to come here. the pulses grew stronger.
***
Wan sat up in shock. she restrained herself from yelling for someone to call 911.
Sheri scribbled a long line across her paper and cursed loudly.
'what was that? it felt like a...' Wan thought, looking over at Sheri. for a split second, Sheri had a very pronounced frown on her face. then Sheri looked up. she signalled Wan to watch out for a written note. 'ok then, I'll just wait.' Wan thought, sitting back in her chair contently.
2 minutes later, a note came for Wan, her name clearly labelled across the folded piece in red. she opened the note eagerly, careful to keep her partner from looking at it.
did you feel it?
Wan looked at the 4 ridiculously 'detailed' words and rolled her eyes. Sheri didn't seem to notice. she scribbled on the piece of paper.
Doi.
the paper zoomed across the classroom. before long, Wan saw Kerri passing the folded note to Sheri, and Sheri opened it eagerly. when she saw the single word, she looked at Wan with a 'Ha ha, that's absolutely Hilarious' look. Wan shrugged and returned to her work. of drawing a faerie. she decided to name it Dolphin.
"Sheri, what's the definition of Diffusion?" the teacher asked abruptly. Wan saw Sheri lay the piece of paper flat on the table. 'busted?' Wan worried. it seemed not. Sheri looked confident as she reeled off, "Diffusion is the movement of particles from areas of higher concentration to areas of lower concentration without being shaken or stirred." the teacher looked like she wanted to swallow Sheri alive.
'hey, but didn't all teachers want to do that if the student got it right?' Wan smirked at the retreating science teacher. 'after all, that's one less reason not to punish the student. and since Sheri quoted directly off the textbook, that ridiculously low IQ'ed detention obsessed woman is righted. plus, Sheri can't taste that good anyway.' Wan concluded grimly. she took hold of the note from Ashleigh across the isle as the science teacher turned around to write another one of her formulas on the white board.
I'll go look for Faye, you for Jean. we'll meet up in the foyer to wait for Ryan and Theon to show. that incident could be well underway.
Wan looked at Sheri as they smiled in unison.
Jackpot.
***
Even a trained Sorcerer like Hisagi was forced down on one knee. the pulses grew so strong that any nearby trees were uprooted and thrown into whirlwind. Hisagi was growing desperate, the wind was growing stronger, and it seemed everything but the pulses were blur.
***
Jean fell off her chair. scratch that, it was a wooden stool. it fell with a loud crash onto the floor.
'what in the name of...' she muttered in her brain. 'what the hell was that?!'
"my goodness, Jean, you don't really have to make such a ruckus, do you??" Jean's annoying Art teacher commented. Jean looked up from the floor. she had to admit, compared to the HOD of Art, she had the lower hand. literally. the woman was at least a meter taller than her from the floor.
"no, Miss. sorry, it was an accident." Jean murmured. "well, we can't have too many accidents, now can we?" the art teacher went off in the opposite direction with a huff and left Jean on the floor. Jean was helped up by her partner, Chrissy, in short, Chris. "thanks, Chris." Jean muttered, and Chris nodded briefly before going back to her work. Jean heard soft conversations going between the other classmates as she went back to her worktable. conversations including the words 'mean', 'art teacher', 'witch' and 'fired'.
Jean remembered the feeling she had when she fell off her stool. although she picked up her paintbrush and continued with her still life picture of the Vietnamese pot. 'it was a sudden jerky feeling, like someone had bumped into me on the train because the train had suddenly stopped.' she thought, and she streaked a rush of green across the vase. one streak followed another, and soon the picture took form. Jean dipped the brush in white to add in a couple of reflections.
'something's definitely up. this was just like what Sheri told me. I'll wait in class after school today.' Jean decided, as she dipped the brush in the water before pulling it out in a split second to reduce soaking. the brush flew out of her hand and hit her Art teacher squarely in the middle of her back.
... 'oh crap.'
"JEEEEEEEEEEEEAN!!!!!!"
***
Hisagi watched the pulses get more rhythmic. he stopped throwing life force into the pale pink necklace and let the moonlight do its job. he was confident the ritual would be complete. the King's men seemed trival as the pulses started speeding up. Hisagi felt rejuvenated.
***
Theon's pencil case fell on the floor, his hand frozen in mid air. pens spilled noisily over the floor.
Ryan's PSP nearly slipped through his fingers.
It was especially lucky Ryan and Theon sat together. they turned to each other simultaenously and said softly, "did you feel that?"
"i did." Theon replied curtly.
"i did too, and honestly, you really put the 'curt' in courteous." Ryan replied, and he slipped his PSP into his bag. Theon took his pencil case from Jason, who was sitting in front of him. he quickly thanked him and pulled out a file from under his desk. Ryan nodded at it.
Theon pulled out 5 sheets of paper stapled together and flipped to the second page. "I can't believe you and Sheri would go to such liberties to secure this information. there had better be a hardcopy and a hardcopy for the hardcopy." Ryan said, uncapping his pen. "oh don't worry, there is. besides, I started this, Sheri was even sceptical about it at first." Theon said, and Ryan nodded. "ok, so what does the research say?"
"Theon, what is that item you are holding?" their A-math teacher walked over to their conjoined desks. Theon discreetly switched the file for his math textbook, accidentally grabbing his E-math book instead. "Idiot, it's the other one." Ryan said convincingly. their math teacher walked away to the front of the room. Theon and Ryan took a sigh each and Theon returned to pulling out the stapled bunch of papers.
"There's a jumper in our dimension." he said, looking like he didn't quite believe it himself. 'maybe he didn't.' Ryan thought. 'maybe i don't.' he thought again, but forced himself to believe it. logic appied, and there was enough hard evidence in Theon's file to sell the whole Dimension jumping idea to Newton or Einstein.
'This could be it. we could be on our way to having the most epic adventure in the history of the world.' Theon thought, almost smiling. but he had work. he began shuffling the papers back into place.
"Ryan, we need to tell the others. they all probably felt the jolt as well, but we need to make sure." Theon turned to Ryan, who was writing down the equation for question 25. "yeah. as usual, the others would be waiting for us at the foyer if we need to say something to each other. They'll be waiting for us there." Ryan muttered.
'That incident is well underway.' Theon confirmed with his papers.
'there's a jumper in Singapore.'
***
Hisagi felt the push as he stood up, first on his right foot, then on his left. he smiled as the jet black doors grew out of the ground, chains binding them. bolts came undone and seals were broken. a white flash of pure energy sliced through the chains and the doors broke open. Hisagi said goodbye to the soldiers behind him, frozen in time, and jumped from his dimension, number 86, to Dimension 987.
Ours.
Rant!! (and pictures.)
OK, this was from a long time ago, it was supposed to be a room card key in disguise, the Chanel certification card, i mean. it was featured in one of my stories. and by the way, that's actually all the real jewellery i have, the blue bracelet is a friendship bracelet i have with a couple of primary school mates, the pink necklace is a gift from my Aunt, and the purple necklace was a gift from my mum, she bought it from the sale our church in Myanmar organised a couple of years ago.
OK, this was a picture i took when i was on the causeway to JB, i was really bored and i was trying to think up ways to spice up a new story of mine, Dimension 987, featuring a few of my real life friends, including Faye, Ryan and Theon. And obviously Wan and Jean, us six make up the main characters including an OC named Hisagi. I eventually decided to include the crystal necklace as a major element in the story. And this is the picture i took on my way back! would you believe i was wearing pink? minority, though. and i was wearing a skirt. a LONG skirt. i might wear this next Saturday to VIVO. I was forced to wear a skirt today because my jeans were in the wash. this pink friendship bands were tied by me while i was bored, and besides, i was doing a few for my friends and cousin, too.The earrings were a gift from my dad, triple heart. super girly, but i made an exception. they're nice earrings anyway. and the crystal necklace? it was a gift from my sister, Stacy. yes, i do have 2 sisters, i have just been talking about one more than the other.
i bought Gum today =] total plus. when we went to Malaysia, we ate at Kenny Rogers. i have to say the taste and quality of the food there is noticeably of lower standard than the previous outlets in Singapore. i had chicken macaroni and cheese, truly nostalgic. i used to eat that all the time in the past. i also had a small cup of fruit salad and some chicken, rounded up with a vanilla muffin and a cup of coke, which my mother stole from because i was having a coughing spell i couldn't get rid off. we when set off to find this place called Austin Hills Resort, a place where we would be staying for 3 days in the June holidays. the pool was definitely a 2 thumbs up, the chlorine was neither too concentrated nor too diluted. there was also a slide. cool.
we eventually took a family suite, which consisted of 3 bedrooms, a living room and a dining room, plus a jacuzzi in one of the bathrooms. it was rather luxurious. they even had a bowling alley, i can't wait to see it. i'm rather happy about this, because if this is the last family vacation we have due to... reasons... i'm happy it's at such a peaceful place.
heck, we might even actually get to bond!!

Rant!!
someone has been impersonating me as my japanese name, Karin, and Theon as whatever name he commonly uses. there are also his 'imaginary friends', claiming they coms from his 16th imagination and he made them up when he was 5 or something. Jason stepped in to defend Theon against verbal abuse and Ryan advised Theon to ban the spammers. so far there has been no progress in this method. Wan stepped in to protest, and never showed up again to this date. since i felt a little moody today, i decided to vent it on someone who deserves it. so let's go with the cross referenceing method, because i love it, it's so much fun ^^
(tagbox quotes are in italic, read from down up because the text was copied and pasted.)
evidence 1:
The true septimus: this is a outrage, don't condensend on me!i am afraid i have to ban you. a pity.
The true septimus: how dare you impersonate me!!
The true septimus: Slander!
septimus: Why are all these random people corrupting my blog?? Anyway its time i declare my love for clara wong even though it may be too late
(note, spammers will be highlighted in orange.)
ok. so this is the first time the spammers began to bother Theon. declaration for love spam. how juvenile.
evidence 2:
Karin: yes, so... i like hanging out at this blog, the posts are interesting to read. so i guess i am staying. sorry about that.
Karin: ...
Karin: and you're not his imaginary friend. i do believe theon has outgrown whatever imaginary friends he had in the past, if any.
Imaginary friend: And Karin stay out of Theon's battle with denial of his imaginary world and all of you stop being a miserable, pathetic, pityful suck-up. I tower over all of you,I look down on all of you
(btw, i'm Karin. it's my Japanese name.)
And here we see an act of verbal abuse. how annoying it is that these people insist on the fact that Theon has imaginary friends when we know there cannot be a computer in Theon's brain for them to tag on his blog.
...
ok, so that was out of point, but still.
evidence 3:
SEX FETISH: PLEASE HAVE SEX WITH ME EVERYONE!!! I DO NOT CARE IF YOU ARE A GUY OR GIRL! ANY AGE WILL DO! BY THE WAY I AM A 1000 YEAR OLD MAN ****ING HUNGRY FOR SEX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ok, this was just plain random, but what the hell. it was hilarious.
evidence 4:
Karin: *also
Karin: and so Theon...? 0.o
Karin: now someone's impersonating me. oh for the love of television, leave me out of this. i am definitely more intelligent than you dinkus spammers, so get lost.
Karin: How bout you guys leave Theon and his blog alone. Even though we may have frail and weak bodies and maybe less intelligence words will never hurt us
clear evidence that someone was impersonating me. how humiliating is it when you see 'yourself' insulting yourself. *sighs*
evidence 5:
Imaginary friend: Ahaha if your so smart why are you in yuan ching. Err lost for words?
this smart arse needs to get his facts right. i'm from Saint Anthony's Canossian Secondary School, thanks, and i'm all the way in Bedok. so yeah.
evidence 6:
Theon: Meet me at my place on Saturday, 11pm and lets have sex!
Theon: I can't believe we are so desperate to have sex with each other that we did not notice it!
Theon: WOW! Karin! I really want to sex with you now too!
Karin: Sure. I love Theon. I'll be glad to have sex with him!
THEONANDKARINSUCKS: WHY DONT U TO GO AND SEX WITH EACH OTHER SINCE YOU LIKE EACH OTHER SO MUCH? SEX FETISH WAS RIGHT!
...
now this is the punch line.
lies. lies, i tell you!!!
evidence 7:
WanWan: But I am really annoyed with all these spamming people. Just stop OK?!
WanWan: OK everyone, hello. You ALL do not know me (except Karin) so I'm being totally weird right now.
and this is where my annoyingly ignorant and perpetually happy friend comes in. still, it's nice to see her concerned about Theon.
well, i can't talk anymore, my dad made a random decision to bring us to JB, as in yeah, Malaysia, so i'll catch you all later.
and for people referred to this blog, please DO NOT spam.
...
thank you.

Rant!!
Nice Pictures.
this was a verycarefree looking pose, and though many people think it's easy enough to draw, it isn't. the texture of the feathers have their individual stroking and shading. the clothes are also uniquely designed in the way of a japanese school uniform, and that has it's strokes and shading too.
this demon girl (i think) has a good dress sense. if i ever needed to wear a dress, i'd pick this one. it's dark, purple (one of the better colours in my paintbox) and it has a matching necklace and jacket. although the image isn't all that clear, it looks good.she looks pretty.

Rant!!
Everyone feels pain. Everyone feels like sometimes, the world is so bloody murder against them. But people, we have lived through those times. We can’t just go, “whoo. Ok, so I’m down, to prevent further pain, I shall stay down and contemplate suicide.”
Dude, what? Please. Life goes on. And if you are strong enough, so will you. you can’t depend on someone to sugar-coat it all the time. No one’s going to be there forever to say, “it’s ok, everything is going to be just fine,” even when you know it’s not. We don’t live to protect each other from the harshness of reality, but show each other the factors of reality. The real stuff. The true stuff. That’s really all I have to say. And because no one else will hear me out, please…
Lend me your listening ear.
this was what i said in a recent comment, excluding certain details not concerning many of you who come to this blog...
and i think it's really true.
think about it. all your life, you face difficulties. what happens? you learn to overcome them.
Friends.
Family.
School.
Work.
so many more. i have realised how the negative impacts of my life make me learn how to cherish the good bits here and there even more. people who think they are down and out so immediately are really just giving up, and it's actually just the same as rolling over to die.
i know life is hard. i know so many people with so many difficulties and i myself am one of them. it's drives mepositively insane on the days whereby i feel i can't do anything, but i still push on.
AND SO SHOULD YOU.
Nice Pictures.
Dosu took a step forward, and came face to face with the man in the hooded cape. he spread out his hands and narrowed his eyes.

"Kira!!" Ume shouted across the field. Osuwari looked at her. "what? he asked. she held up a small flower. "Kira, it's just like your name!!" she smiled warmly, and he looked at it closely. surely, it was an Kira flower.
"Ume, we should be getting back soon." Osu looked at his watch. he saw how Ume's face visibly fell. to her, he was sure, it felt only like a few minutes had passed. she held up the flower to the sun. "15 more minutes?" she begged, and although Osu knew he woukld get into trouble with his master at home, he nodded.
he watched as Ume twisted the flower into her hair. she took out a pocket mirror and checked it a couple of times to make sure it was in place, and smiled whenever she saw Osu looking at the flower. but Osu knew she didn't know it was him. Osu, to Ume, was Kira, her employed manservant. Ume lived in a rich family.
in actual fact, Osu was not at all her manservant. in fact, he was actually Ume's best friend from their shared childhood, but because of a freak accident, Ume had lost her memory. the doctor had warned Osu not to get too close to Ume, or remind her of anything in the past because it would affect her emotionally.
"why..." Osu wondered, "is it that i always the ones i can never hope to be with as more than a friend?" he watched Ume, and screamed. inaudibly.

Rant!!
met up with Jeanette in the morning, 11 or smething. we went to the library...
waited for Syafiqah. and Intan.
when i called them again at 12, Syafiqah said that Intan was going to met us there, so how's going there for lunch?
we said ok. we took the bus there, to down town east. ridiculously short ride, it was a stop away. so we went to Macs to eat. well, i ordered, i hadn't had breakfast, but Jeanette wanted to wait for the others.
how nice.
too bad i was really hungry. i explained why i hadn't waited to Syafiqah, though.
after eating, we walked over to where her friends were and talked a bit. then we left to go over to the bowling alley. we waited for quite a bit even though the dude said it was only going to be a half hour.
finally i got a little angry for waiting such a long time. i was about to ask the receptionist about it when we finally saw our lane number on the waiting list. i sighed and just swallowed it in after renting the shoes.
we walked to the lane.
our group, me, Syafiqah, Jeanette and Intan, were up against a group of Syafiqah's friends. i got two strikes for the first round. then i got 2 spares, too. the rest were either 8's or 7's or gutters, because i scraped my hand on the wall trying to punch this guy i was really pissed with. my knuckles were affected and my second digits were scraped as well, so it was uncomfortable just to hold the bowling ball without the raw skin scratching against the wood.
after the games were over, a couple of the girls were a little mad at each other, so i bought popcorn to settle it.
like that helped.
i just don't understand girls.
Jeanette left. then Syafiqah decided to go with her. i went back with Intan, i forgot she lived around where i did. rather ridiculous of me to forget, i regret to admit.
took a bath, smsed this person.
took dinner.
and this was my day up till here.
by the way, i got this post from TL's blog, and i'm going to try to cross examine it, like all the other bloggers are doing nowadays. it seems fun.
it's no use worrying now, what's done is done.
I just wish that people will stop misunderstanding me.
I want all those anger, hatred and prejudice to just go away.
I want peace,joy......i want people to understand
and not hate me because they don't understand.
I just want people to stop being such monsters to each other.
Why does it have to be this way,why cant there be peace.
Why can't we stop pointing fingers at one another and screaming about how much we hate each other.
why can't people learn to accept that everyone is different and start to respect that
why can't we spend our time trying to forgive hurts rather than cause hurts.
Sigh
right. let's begin with his first sentence.
first of all, i'd like to clarify this post caught my eye because it is true and meaningful to me. what's done actually IS done. you can't change it. with worrying, like what i said in my first post, and with simply sugar-coating, an attitude toward things that i have made my obvious dislike for.
next sentence. i'm not sure about that. perhaps people are misunderstanding you for not knowing you enough. do you open yourself up to many? no. i'm sure of it. not your real self. it's obvious to someone like me, i have experience <=)
after that... yeah. i agree people who have prejudice are just plain despicable. judging someone by the way they dress, cut their hair or by the people they hang out with is really and truly disgusting.
next 2 sentences. the one core bit that caught my attention. i want people to stop judging me because they think i'm acting like a smart little thing who doesn't know anything. i want them to stop thinking i don't know it just because they don't know it. because i do know it.
i know what's important in life.
next paragraph. i don't understand this either. what is wrong with the human heart? it can be the evilest thing in the world, so deliciously misled and so quickly blackened that it could be the worst sight, and yet it could be easily one of the most complex, most beautiful things in the world when all intentions are pure. and yet people mislook it and see it was an act of false modesty.
oh my god. yes, why? why is it we can't get along without problems?
because.
because we need the difficult senarios to help us treasure the precious few and far between lovely bits of life that some of us have more of and some of us have less. we need to treasure those moments. because we don't get many of them, if at all.
last paragraph. this was another core bit as well. i got so agitated when i saw this. why CAN'T we spend our time doing aything productive? it is true. no one is the same, everyone has their own weaknesses and strengths. why can't we see what it truly means to be yourself? to be just you? and why can't we leave people who are strong enough to be themself to be themself?
...
it's because of jealousy. people are scared to be ostracized by the public because they are not bold enough to go out as their own self, and they are afraid the public will think they are seeking only attention, evn if they are simply expressing their individuality. this is ridiculous.
... i hate it.
wow. that did feel good. cross examining someone's post is sort of fun, i might do it again sometime soon ^^
WILL THE PEOPLE IMPERSONATING ME OR TL IN OUR TAGBOXES LEAVE US ALONE? you're saying some very hurtful things without taking onto account what we might feel, so quit it please. you are bringing back unwanted memories.
...
i might post tomorrow.

sheesh, there everyone goes, thinking Debate is only for people with nothing better to do, or that it's boring and is a no-substance CCA. well, Debate is an awesome CCA. ...
i have to go get ready to meet the girls for bowling.
i'll come back with a full report.
... later.
Rant!!
This feels nice, to be asked out with friends.
i'm wearing a black long sleeved lycra shirt, with a red sleeveless jacket on top. jeans, obviously, and boots. maybe my black wrist sleeves. or maybe i should chain my jeans.
i feel like a sneak agent, what with my gear up. oh well.
we meet at white sands at 12, then after lunch we head to the bowling alley. after about 5 games or something, we'll just hang around till it's time to go home.
yup.
that's the plan.
Ps, ignore what Theon said in the tagbox. it's something you would not understand unless you were a regular reader of his tagbox, so yeah. someone has been impersonating me on his blog, which address i am not intending to give you in case you bother him as well.
Rant!!
You are the sensitive, tough gothic girl. You're not afraid to use violence and you are very headstrong. Sometimes you don't want to make your friends sad so you support in almost everything they do, even if it might be a bad thing, because you don't want to upset your friend. You sure got your make-up and clothes, but you still love them even if people discriminate. When it comes to parties, you aren't afraid to flaunt it with your clothes : fishnets, minidresses, deep-Vs, high boots, yea! Oh, and by the way...it also sounds like you are a very attractive person ^^ Could it be that preps are jealous? [sorry if I get this wrong]
Your element : Fire
Possibly the person you like the most : A sidekick or someone who is just like you
Possibly dislike : A popular, preppy girl
... this is rather accurate. except for the bit about attractiveness.
*disclaimer* i am not trying to be overly modest. i myself hate that. i honestly feel that over 87% of the girls i see in the street are more attractive than me.
Rant!!
maybe i should just quit it.
heh. be a loner and cut off ties till 7 years later.
'EXTRA,' huh, Hz?
'any help but yours,' huh, Tl?
'oh god, just stay out of my fucking life, sheri, you have no idea what i'm going through,' huh, sis?
i had enough.
...
i've tried to understand, sis, i have. but i can't.
should i apologise?
i'm... sorry.

Nice Pictures.
I like this picture because it has a very peaceful feeling to it, and the texture and colours are very well done too. i like that she'sdoing something as dangerous as walking outside the building as easy as boiling water. it'sa novel idea.
The classic Romeo and Juliet picture.
I have absolutely no clue why i didn't pick the origial piece instead of this. the add ins were pretty much to my liking, i suppose. even the tape looks real, this is photoshop's version of neoprints, i guess. it looks good. And now the emo.
i like this picture because of the way it is painted in photoshop. the outlinbes don't look very roughed in like other couple pictures, which i found was a nice touch. the character's stance is good too, and i like the design of the costumes too.
I like this picture because they match and it's cute. period.that's all for now. thank you.
